Tulisa Contostavlos’ ex and former N-Dubz bandmate has given an update on the singer’s well-being following her stint on I’m A Celebrity.

Fazer, real name Richard Rawson, revealed that he recently spoke with Tulisa, 36, and assured fans she’s in high spirits after her jungle journey.

Speaking to MailOnline, the 37-year-old said: “She’s good. She’s happy, she’s happy to be home. She’s getting ready for Christmas, ordering her turkey and stuff so all good.”

Fazer admitted he had been cheering for Tulisa throughout the show, watching until her elimination.

He told the publication: “We watched it until she got kicked out and then I stopped watching. There was no need for me to be watching this anymore. Now my band member’s not in it anymore, it’s not gonna interest me as much.”

Expressing his pride, the rapper added: “I think she held herself well and she came across really genuine, which was really nice to see because I feel like the public managed to see that as well. They saw her as her authentic self, not a perception of what they may have had in their heads.”

Tulisa sparked concern after she didn’t show up for the ITV2 spin-off show Unpacked and later fled Australia. Adding to the mystery, the singer wiped her Instagram clean of any posts relating to her time on the show.

Breaking her silence, Tulisa took to Instagram to clarify the situation, admitting she felt “overwhelmed” by the surge of attention post-jungle life.

Addressing her followers, she said: “Hey guys, I’m just doing a little video to clear a few things up. When I first came out of the jungle, I felt fine first of all and then that evening, my friends went to bed and I was on my Instagram, just trying to have a casual scroll at some funny stuff.”

Revealing the impact the newfound attention had on her, Tulisa continued: “I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding – in all the most positive way, but because it’s been a bit of a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed.

“And I was like, do you know what? I need to just take a little bit of time for me and just chill. This is all just feeling a bit much at the moment.”

Tulisa, who has previously opened up about her battle with Bell’s palsy in 2020, also faced undue scrutiny over her looks during her time on the reality TV show.

Michelle McKenna, a close friend of the star, appeared on Lorraine to set the record straight regarding the negative comments about Tulisa’s appearance.

Michaelle told the Scottish presenter: “She’s been suffering a lot with her face, Bell’s Palsy, and she’s also had cysts and she’s recently had them taken out. She had to have an operation where they had to go in and take cysts out. She’s had a really terrible time.”

She elaborated on the impact of Tulisa’s condition, stating: “Her whole face, one side, it drooped.”

In relation to the social media trolls, Michelle insisted: “Be nice or keep your mouth shut.”
