Verdict: False

The video is miscaptioned and in reality shows an annual toy drive. A Davenport Police Association spokesperson confirmed in an email.

Sean “Diddy” Combs wore a tan suit when he appeared in federal court where his trial date has been set for May 5, 2025, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Combs’ sons, Christian and Justin Combs, were present, the outlet reported.

A video appears to show a large Coca-Cola truck accompanied by a police car with its lights on. A man speaking in the video claims that children were discovered in the truck.

“THEY JUST FOUND A COCA COLA TRUCK FULL OF KIDS BEING TRAFFICKED IN ILLINOIS!!! #trafficking,” the caption reads.

The video is miscaptioned, however, and does not depict trafficking. The Davenport Police Department made a Facebook post commemorating the event, a toy drive. “Through the generosity of our amazing community, we collected hundreds of toys this holiday season during the Davenport Police Association Annual Toy Drive,” it reads, in part. The Coca-Cola truck can be seen in multiple pictures posted

A Davenport Police Association spokesperson confirmed that the video showed the toy drive in an email to Check Your Fact.

“Over the weekend, the Davenport Police Association hosted its 22nd Annual Toy Drive, collecting new toys and funds to support children and families served by Family Resources Inc. However, false information recently circulated on social media claiming that a Coca-Cola truck in Davenport, Iowa was located with trafficked or endangered children, which is completely untrue,” the spokesperson said. “The images and video of the Coca-Cola truck and Davenport Police vehicles were from last weekend’s toy drive, not a criminal investigation.”

Local news outlet WHBF also did a news segment on the event. The outlet reported that the event was their 22nd drive. (RELATED: Does Coca-Cola Can Customization Allow Any Religious Name Except Jesus?)
