It sounds like it is going to be another busy summer at Chelsea, with Fabrizio Romano reporting the club are looking to sell 7-8 players.

The new comes after Chelsea beat Copenhagen 1-0 on Thursday night to advance into the quarter finals of the Conference League, winning the tie 3-1 on aggregate.

Sources: La Liga giants register fresh interest in Chelsea man – could be hard to keep hold of him under one condition!

It wasn’t easy for Chelsea though and once again they were very bad in the first 45 minutes. It took a stunning solo goal from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to get The Blues over the line and into the next round.

Enzo Maresca made some big changes at half time, although one of them, removing youngster Josh Acheampong, received some criticism. Maresca has since explained his thinking behind that move.

But the bottom line is that Chelsea are through and Chelsea advance in a competition that they are expected to win.

This is called the business end of the season, but Chelsea’s big business will be in the transfer market at the end of it in the summer.

Blues set to sell some players

Fabrizio Romano on his Youtube channel:

Personally I think it could even be more than 7-8 players that the club will be looking to sell, but this is what Fabrizio Romano has said on his latest YouTube video this weekend.

And the reason for this is so they can fund the signing of a new striker in the summer window.

Romano says:

“Chelsea will now try to sell 7-8 players in order to raise funds to buy an important striker.”

It sounds like they will finally be addressing the big striker issue that they have had for some time now, let’s just hope they get the right profile!
